Eighteen local artists explore the many facets of the escarpment’s presence in the lives of people in the Niagara area throughout history: Sarah Arsenault, Matthew Cormier, Gillian Dickson, Floyd Elzinga, Lynette Fast, Karen Felesko, John Gill, Marion Griese, Greta Hildebrand, Shira Leuchter, Arnold McBay, Sandy Middleton, Robert Montgomery, Mary Regimbal-Gillespie, Kim Rempel, Geoff Secor, Silva Talmassons & Jan Yates. Escarpment: On the Edge is an initiative of the City of St. Catharines’ Public Art Advisory Committee and the Recreation and Community Services Department. It is part of an ongoing exploration into the role of public art in St. Catharines’ future.
