The Regards were formed in St. Catharines in 2002 out of the ashes of the Brock Theatre Arts Undergraduate program where four of it's members met and connected in an effort to bring well-crafted, diverse and honest music to the masses. The Regards are comprised of six members who go by the names of Edwin Conroy Jr. (electric guitar, bass guitar, vox), Miles Coverdale (bass guitar, electric guitar, vox), Alison Enns (mandolin, vox), Trevor Enns (banjo, electric guitar, vox), Brian Foster (drums, percussion) and Joe Lapinski (lap steel guitar, vox). As a band they have released two ep's ('First & Foremost' released in 2002 and 'The Regards ep' released in 2004) and one full-length recording ('Light From a Ghost' released in 2007.) The last two selections in the band's discography have seen significant air play on college radio and the CBC radio show 'Bandwith.' The Regards have charted several times on CFBU (Brock Radio), cracking the top ten on several occasions and staying at number one for eight weeks strait. The Regards' only long range goal is to continue to play live and to keep recording new material. As of early 2009, The Regards continue to promote and perform songs from 'Light From A Ghost' and the band have started to the most preliminary of discussions pertaining to writing and recording new material. No date has been set for new material.
