A band of five diverse and outrageous women, sisterLune members were grown and harvested in the fertile soils of the Niagara Region of Ontario, Canada.  Jennifer Benson, Carrie Latka, Melissa Penner, Brenda Snyder, Betsy Tauro and Susannah Taylor blend powerful voices, textured with rich harmonies and hand drumming, to create a unique and earthy folk-appella sound that is sure to shake your soul!

Since forming in 1997 they have released three independent CDs and have performed in theatrical productions, music festivals, conferences, and  rallies throughout Ontario and Quebec.  They continue to create original musical works either by workshopping and developing the songs of local songwriters, or by creating their own songs, using life in Niagara as their inspiration.

As actors and musicians, they bring an inspirational and unabashed combination of music and comedy to their audiences.  As social justice activists, they have raised over $15 000.00 for various charities including Gillian’s Place of St. Catharines.
