Filmmaker Lindsay Robles was born and raised in the north end of St. Catharines. He graduated from St. Catharines Collegiate in 1996 and went on to study economics at the Universities of Western Ontario and Toronto. Today he works in Vancouver as a sustainable business consultant and produces videos and documentaries on his spare time. His videos have covered topics from the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, to the British Columbia Mountain Pine Beetle epidemic, to the search for missing aviator Steve Fossett. Lindsay and his wife Chun Yee recently welcomed a new daughter to the world this March and plan to return to Ontario in the spring to start their family. Lindsay’s film, “Enlightenment”, is a collection of time-lapse videos shot in Vancouver put to the pulsing beats of the MSA5000. With the ever increasing pace of modern life and the 24-7 strains on our energy systems, the video simply asks – when will the lights go out?
