Words Around The Waist plays catchy rock tunes with folk and jazz influences.  Drama and humour are expressed in the lyrics of the three lead vocalists while truth and glory are expressed in the moustache of the drummer.  Intricate vocal harmonies combine with explosive drumming and unique songwriting. All 4 members are current or former students of Humber College's prestigious music program, where they met after moving to Toronto from the lands of New Brunswick, BC, Indiana, and St. Catharines.  Their first independently produced 7-song CD was released in September 2008. They spent the winter learning some new material, which has since been unleashed on live audiences.
