THE BLACK FLIES formed early 2007 in Niagara Falls , releasing their 9 song debut Cd "Road Ahead" in 2008 .It was recorded by Dean Malton at Goundloop Studios . It is now available on-line through CDBaby.com , Amazon, Itunes and many others . The band filmed a video for the lead off track "You were Miles " with director Britt Wilen .With The Road Ahead just being released on-line everywhere ,  the band are already  back in the studio ,again with Dean Malton to record the follow up , which will be out this summer .
