ferris!!!

And we even got a ferris wheel!

The countdown is on. Just over one week to go and downtown St. Catharines will be bursting at the seams with music, theatre, film, comedy, artisans, a ferris wheel and more! This is going to be the biggest and boldest In the Soil Arts Festival to date. Join us for the launch onFriday 25 April @ 5pm at our outdoor hub.

We will be taking over 2 blocks of St. Paul St. with a fully equipped outdoor hub to host 23 acts over the festival weekend, with beer by Niagara Oast House Brewers and wine by Creekside Estate Winery served all weekend long. We’ve invited some stellar food vendors to compliment the many delectable dine-in and take-out restaurants offering sweet festival deals in downtown St. Catharines.

This year, we’ve partnered with Gathering Niagara to bring together an impressive variety of artisans set to sell their original wares at the 2014 Vendor Bender. Christmas has come early in downtown St. Catharines. Have a look at what’s in store HERE.

Oh, and did we mention the FERRIS WHEEL? Don’t miss this rare opportunity to look high over downtown St. Catharines at the making of The New Performing Arts Centre(PAC). Stay tuned for special pop-up performances going ’round, and our PAC and ME selfie contest! #PACandME

And there are over 120 other activities planned as we take over downtown! Other festival venues include: The Merchant Ale House, Fourgrounds Meda Inc., The Sullivan Mahoney Courthouse Theatre, Oddfellow’s Temple, Detour Music Hall, Mikado’s Bar and Lounge, Mahtay Cafe, Niagara Artists Centre, 122 St. Paul St., The St. Catharines Central Library and more.

Check out the over 120 acts and installations in the Full Festival Schedule HERE.

$30 Festival Passes are available HERE.

So what do ya think? Just come. Come to the festival. You’re gonna have a really good time.
