In the Soil intends to celebrate Niagara's distinct arts and culture by showcasing a wide variety of artists, at all different stages of their career, in events held over two weeks in April. This festival will bring together the talents of filmmakers, musicians, visual artists and performers of all kind (either from Niagara, with an artistic piece inspired by or about Niagara, or with a strong connection to the Niagara arts scene).  In the Soil will approach each year with new programmatic goals;  In 2010, we are proud to have new showcasing opportunities for media, dance and theatre artists.  We hope to grow In the Soil into a perrenial celebration.
