Since arriving in St. Catharines in 2000, Jordy Yack has felt a strong connection to the region, which he now calls home. Jordy is a music journalist and currently is the Managing Editor of Hamilton's alt-weekly, View Magazine. He was once the Editor-in-Chief of View's now defunct sister paper, Pulse Niagara. Jordy is part of the jury for the Polaris Music Prize, and has sat on the 200+ jury since the award's inception in 2006.

In his spare time he's an avid cyclist, likes to be a handler while playing Ultimate frisbee and just starting singing and playing washboard in a honky tonk/bluegrass band called Dollar Store Cowboy.
