Sara Palmieri - Since earning her BA in Communications, Media/Culture Stream in 2003 from Brock University, Sara has been employed as the Sales and Marketing Manager at the Centre for the Arts, Brock University. Her energies have been focused on developing community outreach and workshop programs, marketing initiatives, audience development, sponsorship and programming for young audiences and dance. Sara is an active member of the cultural community in St. Catharines-Niagara and beyond as the Chair and co-founder of the In the Soil Arts Festival, President of Suitcase and Point Theatre Company's Board of Directors, Secretary of CCI - Ontario Presenting Network's Board of Directors and as an active volunteer for a number of other organizations. Sara also sits on the St. Catharines New Performing Arts Centre User Group Committee, is a lead partner on the Culture in Niagara - Marketing the Arts project and has taken part in The Succession Plan program through CAPACOA - Canadian Arts Presenting Association. Sara is passionate about arts and culture in Niagara and has always been excited about its central role in shaping, sustaining and transforming communities. She values creativity, a sense of accomplishment and is open to change. She is hard working and passionate about working in the collaborative, fun and inclusive environment of Niagara's cultural sector. Dig it!
