Who can apply?

If you can answer "YES!" to at least one of the following questions, YOU CAN APPLY:

Are you from the Niagara Region, Canada?
Are you an artist (from/not from Niagara) who is creating work inspired by the Niagara Region?
Are you not from Niagara, but you participate in the growth of arts and culture here?

Are we getting paid?

Yes. You will be getting an honorarium.
We are awaiting word on our funding applications and potential sponsorship. We will update this answer as we hear more.

What kind of festival is this?

This is NOT a battle of the bands.
This is NOT a label or industry showcase/festival.
This IS an opportunity for amateurs, professionals, and students to share 'the stage' together.
This IS an opportunity to take chances with your artistic visions and to create something that coincides with the festival's vision to celebrate Niagara arts and culture.
This IS a celebration of all that is Niagara.
This IS an opportunity for the first time in this area to connect the dots between different art forms within the landscape of Niagara.

No. It's free!

What will be available technically during the festival (for the music portion only)?

PA System:

Drum Kit:

• kick, snare, 2 toms
• hi-hats, crash, ride

Scenarios:

I am not from Niagara. I live in Toronto. But I have been working on an album inspired by Niagara Falls. Can I apply?

Yes.

I'm from Niagara and my band only plays covers. Can I apply?

No.

My 6 year old daughter is a very talented tap dancer. Can I apply for her?

Yes.
