Connecting nature and magic, the cloak of Cosmoss (wearable art made of moss and wax) creates a sense of other worldliness.

ABOUT:

The Cloak of Cosmoss is a symbol for the harmonious nature of In The Soil. The many wonderful exhibits and performances all happening at once, the ebb and flow of people and the buzzing energy of creativity and wonder. Catch the Cloak of Cosmoss moving throughout downtown on your weekend adventures.

In 2014, for the last STRUTT, Amber created a multi-coloured wax dress with a large wax sunhat titled “If your head is wax don’t walk in the sun.” In April 2016, Amber created another piece of wearable art that was included in the “What about Rodman Hall?” show at the Niagara Artists Centre. The piece was titled “Colony Collapse Disorder,” and was also created from wax and mixed media, combining themes of the hive and the beekeeper.
