Who can apply?

If you can answer "YES!" to at least one of the following questions, YOU CAN APPLY:

Are you from the Niagara Region, Canada?
Are you an artist (from/not from Niagara) who is creating work inspired by the Niagara Region?
Are you not from Niagara, but you participate in the growth of arts and culture here?

Here is a list of all the applicable genres:

Theatre
Dance
Comedy

What is up with the audition requirement?

As the jury will not be familiar with each entry, and sometimes video and sound recordings simply cannot tell them enough (i.e. what venue would be best suited), we have set up an audition opportunity for those whom the jury requires more investigation. not everyone will be required to audition, but we are asking you to keep that date in mind in case it is required. all asked to audition will be notified in late january. thanks so much.

Are we getting paid?

Yes. You will be getting an honorarium.
We are awaiting word on our funding applications and potential sponsorship. We will update this answer as we hear more.

Who's on the jury?

Juries are currently being finalized. Information coming soon.

Can I volunteer?

Yes. Please CONTACT US so we can have name and contact information on file.

What kind of festival is this?

This is NOT a battle of the bands.
This is NOT a label or industry showcase/festival.
This IS an opportunity for amateurs, professionals, and students to share 'the stage' together.
This IS an opportunity to take chances with your artistic visions and to create something that coincides with the festival's vision to celebrate Niagara arts and culture.
This IS a celebration of all that is Niagara.
This IS an opportunity for the first time in this area to connect the dots between different art forms within the landscape of Niagara.

No. It's free!
