How to get rid of a Neighbour
Tracy Van Oosten

How to get rid of a Neighbour (Stop Motion) is a warped tale about a regular day that is conflicted when the protagonist realizes their home has been invaded by their neighbour. The protagonist then goes to extreme measure to get rid of "it".

Nightmare
Xiaoxiao Yan

This is an experimental short about a girl's dream, in which she sees her childhood with her mother.

Xiaoxiao Yan, or Yan Xiaoxiao as it is in Chinese, is an international student attending Brock, who has a great passion for cinema.

Work, work
Duncan MacDonald

'Work, work' is a thirteen-minute stop-motion video by St. Catharines-artist Duncan MacDonald. The video depicts Duncan crawling from his home to Rodman Hall, a feat that took nearly six and a half hours. The camera operator, Tracy Van Oosten, shot the trek frame by frame with a DSLR camera - and in turn, helped determined the duration of the performance experiment. The video questions how it might be possible to an artist, a father and a teacher (ie. going to work one day). The piece was made around the same time his son, Sebastian, was learning to crawl.

ELECTR∞RGANIC
Marinko Jareb

ELECTR∞RGANIC is a visual exploration of the power of nature as it relates to the power of electricity. The current of the Niagara River being converted into a current of electricity coursing through copper wires has contributed to making Niagara Falls an international icon of beauty and hydro electricity. Marinko has approached this project as he would a VJ mix, taking raw footage shot on location and making a playful video collage that pays homage to both nature and technology.
