THE TALE OF A TOWN - ST. CATHARINES PRESENTS THE LIVING ARCHIVE GRAND OPENING!

Friday 29 April, Saturday 30 April, and Sunday 1 May | PWYC

The Foss Building - 104 St. Paul Street - 3pm to 7pm

Created by FIXT POINT, The Living Archive is phase one of The Tale of a Town - St Catharines, a project inspired by countless hours of oral histories gathered from local residents about the recent history of downtown. The Tale of a Town - St Catharines will culminate in a promenade theatrical presentation during the 2012 In the Soil Festival.

Come celebrate the opening of The Living Archive and fill a balloon with your stories about downtown. All you need is a memory and a breath of air to contribute.

Gallery curator and owner St. Catharine herself will be on-site to greet you and guide you through our
rare collection of air, captured from some of the neighbourhood's most legendary locations such as Diana Sweets, Art's Restaurant, The St. Catharines Standard and The Russell Hotel. These prestigious pockets of now extinct air will be on sale throughout the festival.

Call The Living Archive to contribute your stories by phoning our Toll Free Hotline: 1-877-269-9133
