ABOUT:

Earthling from Niagara, Ontario. Creations passing through as intersections of everything, an accumulation of mental, physical/environmental and soulful process and reaction through meaningful mediums. I started crafting works and musical compositions out of anything I could find since young gremlin years, fascinated with the energies and stories radiating from the natural world, and organically expressing them. Exploring the forests from Erie to Superior, the webs of ecosystems pulsing melodies through soul cases of grey matter and air waves in reaction to the ever rotation of the glowing moon & floating blue orb aligned with the exploding star. terra blooms: contours of earthling figures, treemen sprouts, creatures, fungi, lichens, mosses and chimed ecosystems withered from organic matter and recycled mediums configured in tune within the grove, strung with pockets made of compostable paper seed sacks, encasing to-be sprouts, or eclipsed matter returning decomposed transcendence back to the earth, awaiting the chance of inaugural spring mist to commence dampening the shell case for a slow-mo peel and release. The environment and multi-matter work invite the interaction of observers, young to old, of all life, species and form, any season or weather. This work explores the issues and hopeful realm related to recycling, reusing, reducing and earth care, and ideas towards cultural and social redefinition and experimenting the uses of repurposed materials. Geographical Coordinates: Thicket Alley wanderers from James and St. Paul Street intersection, travel through the alley way between the Coffee Cult and So Jollof, there shall be a large patch of trees from left to right and a staircase. Feel free to explore the installation, tread with pupils lense or light-toes. Invite spring waves mist embrace in tune with the frequencies of the creeky trees and sparrows afternoon song; a creatures lyric in reciprocal harmonies. One of the largest patches of trees residing within the downtown cityscape with close proximity to twelve mile, a chunk of the Escarpment. I wanted to shed light on our connection with nature, and what’s left of it in the Niagara Region, and also to create artwork that can be beneficial for the health of the earth and it’s inhabitants along with sharing ideas. An attempt to give a little love through and onto, using only recycled things.
