A quartet that’s been described as misfits bringing hairy alt-rock with some feminine feels into the picture. Their funky, psych-rock sound combines elements of pop and ’90s alternative.
Way back in the summer of 2013, someone made a joke about starting a psychedelic art band. There would be fur. Beads. Elaborate stage names, like Wolf Mother Squirrelfoot. It would be astounding, enthralling and confuse the piss out of the masses. It would be hilarious.
This conversation did not lead to that band, but sparked a chain of things no-one really remembers, and before they knew it, it was the four of them, writing songs in various basements and waiting for someone to give them 40 minutes on a stage.
Majora has since gotten their 40 minutes, and many more 40 minutes after those, and have grown into an unlikely brotherhood with a sound that reflects each their differences.
