Vernacular folk music from Canada and The United States. Mixture of 21st century ragtime, blues, jazz and step dance music.

Formed in 2011, The Niagara String Band has been playing throughout Southern Ontario at many festivals, breweries, bars, house shows and sidewalks. The bands repertoire is both eclectic and common, with music learned from many resources, they strive to maintain the spirit of the early North American songsters that have left us with a rich and vast musical history. The band has performed and travelled with many great American and Canadian artists such as Jerron “Blind Boy” Paxton and Frank Fairfield.
