A down town, site-specific photo retrospective using historic images juxtaposed against their corresponding modern landscapes to highlight the dramatic physical and cultural shift in our urban environments.

Inspired by the Detriot Institute of Art’s ‘Inside/Out’ iniative, History In Site will challenge pre-conceived notions of museums and local history by bringing the Museum’s rich collection to the streets in a moving and relevant way. The St. Catharines Museum is a leader in innovative museum and community programming. Located at Lock 3 on the Welland Canal, the Museum’s mission is to share the vibrant local stories of our community through research, interpretation, exhibition, acquisition and preservation.
