Landlines – a poetry cycle about home in all its strange domesticity, familiarity, routine, intense nostalgia and backlash.

Suzanna has developed her own signature of performance poetry that joins the internal life, power and expression of spoken word with an undercurrent of personal and quiet vulnerability.

“These poems give off sparks of magic concocted by language that is both wild and precise. They are clearly driven by the intuitive creative spirit, as all art must be, but they are also harnessed by intelligence and craft—as all art must be. They judiciously engage music, imagery, symbolism, risk and silence in the service of the poem that calls to be written. Reading them has many rewards. I have no doubt that we’ll be seeing more fine work from their writer.” -Deanna Young, Trillium Book Award Nominee
