Soil Spills provokes questions around the unthinkable amount of damage that is being done to our marine ecosystem and shoreline habitats.


Krista is a Niagara native and graduate from Brock University’s Visual Arts program. She is a practising artist with a focus on installation and fibre art and is an elementary school teacher with the District School Board of Niagara.

Krista has participated in a variety of shows as an artist, including STRUTT, Niagara’s largest Wearable Art Show, for nearly 10 years. She has participated in Small Feats and showcased installation art pieces at the In the Soil Arts Festival for over 4 years, as well as a solo exhibition of her installation “Spark” at the Grimsby Art Gallery. She is a longstanding member of the Niagara Artists Centre and is an advocate for art education for children in her community.
