Marissa Tomlinson is a folk singer-songwriter and artist from Niagara and has been working to bridge the gap between her art and her music in the hopes of creating harmony between the two forms. This has recently resulted in her stop-motion animation “Ocean,” which foreshadows future projects exploring loss, support, and individuality.

Marissa Tomlinson has exhibited work at the Niagara Artists Centre, Brock University’s Marilyn I Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts, Rodman Hall Art Gallery, Niagara Falls Art Gallery, among other businesses in Niagara, including Mahtay Café and Small Batch Co. She has performed in her hometown of Ridgeway as well as at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with her music club. She hopes to perform more often once she graduates this spring.
