If Mick Jagger was Indigenous and played guitar with Billy Sheehan…

Take rock and blues…mix it with Indigenous themes and only a guitar and stand up bass and you have an intimate, passionate performance awaiting you!

Rick McLean is of Crooked Trail fame, an Indigenous rock band that won several awards in the past decade. He has reunited with his recording studio partner Paul Wheeler…a Niagara music icon…to give life to original music with passion and a message. Paul and Rick have also been touring with the Stones tribute Beast of Burden and many other projects.

Rick McLean (guitar) played with Painted Black, Sloppy Duppy, Chick Pea Soup, Crooked Trail and many other bands as well as being music director for musicals and theatre productions throughout Ontario.

Paul Wheeler (stand up bass) started his musical career in the band, I. C. I. , opening shows for Alice Cooper, Toto, Trooper, Alanna Miles, and April Wine. Along with his brother Jon, Paul formed the “Wheeler Brothers” and went on to write, record and tour two well-received CDs. He’s also played with Chillum, Universal Juveniles and Van Walen.
