A 4-piece indie-alt-art rock project headquartered in Toronto and with roots in the Niagara region.

ABOUT:

Founded by singer-songwriter Patrick Beedling, the band features Calum Beedling on keys, Joseph Stracuzzi on bass guitar and Jonny Smith on drums. The band, in its various incarnations, has been consistently active since 2013, when Barbarosa released their first EP, Sinking West . Another EP, Eye of the Rabbit, followed in 2016, along with a music video for the song ‘’These Lanes’ which saw Barbarosa and friends braving Toronto rush hour and Scarborough bowling alleys. For ITS 2018, Barbarosa will debut some sock-knocking new tunes!

“Alongside cerebral understanding, saccharine melodies are the heart of Eye of the Rabbit. Every track is an ear worm, a pleasing listen all the way through, so much so that you could miss the intelligence behind the lyrics and get lost in the flow.” -Kaitlin Ruether, Grayowl Point

ARTISTS:

Patrick Beedling- singing, songwriting, vocals, guitar
Calum Beedling- guitar and vocals
Jonny Smith- drums and percussion
Joseph Stracuzzi- bass guitar
