Blue mixed media paintings that explore how life endures social and organic deterioration under capitalism.

“Planned Obsolescence” is the closing feature of a four-month long, rotational exhibition at Rise Above, featuring paintings from the artists’ series “Blue Compositions”. Planned Obsolescence includes additional drawings and sculptural installations completed by the artist in the winter of 2018. Taylor has been working with painting and drawing mediums for several years and her work has been previously shown at local independent venues that foster the local art and music scene in downtown St. Catharines. The Exhibition is set to close at the end of the festival and all works are available for purchase on site.
